IslamCity, or SpamCity

Yesterday I received an email telling me that my address was added to a group called IslamCity on Yahoo Groups. And just after that my Inbox was bombarded with zillions of mails from these group. Actually I didn't even try to read these mails and just deleted them. So what is the point of adding someone to your mailing list without his/her permition. You ca just send me a request and I'll see if I'd like to subscribe or not. Thanks Allah, I am unsubscribed from it now, but I still can't get the point of adding people to a mailing list without their permition :-( Tags: Spam, Yahoo, Gr33n Data
